By accessing or using the GENO Wellness Hub platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including wellness seekers (customers) and wellness providers.
GENO Wellness Hub provides a digital platform that connects individuals seeking mental health and wellness support with certified wellness professionals. Our services include wellness tracking tools, session booking, provider discovery, guided programs, and personalized insights. GENO acts as a marketplace and technology provider — we do not directly provide medical or therapeutic services.
You must create an account to use most features of GENO. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as needed. GENO reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Wellness providers on GENO are independent professionals, not employees or agents of GENO. Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their credentials, qualifications, and the quality of services they deliver. Providers must maintain valid professional certifications and comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. GENO verifies provider credentials during onboarding but does not guarantee ongoing compliance.
Customers pay for sessions through the GENO platform. GENO processes payments securely and holds funds until session completion, at which point the provider's earnings (minus the platform fee) are released to their wallet. Providers can withdraw earnings via M-Pesa or bank transfer. Platform fees are clearly displayed before each transaction. Refund policies apply to cancelled or disputed sessions as outlined in our refund policy.
Customers may cancel or reschedule bookings according to the provider's cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to partial or no refund at the provider's discretion. Providers who cancel sessions without reasonable notice may face account restrictions.
Users agree not to misuse the platform, including but not limited to: creating false accounts, harassing other users, sharing inappropriate content, attempting to circumvent platform payments, scraping or copying platform data, or using GENO for any illegal purpose. GENO reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
All content, design, code, and branding on the GENO platform are the property of GENO Wellness Hub and protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they create (such as reviews and notes) but grant GENO a license to display and use such content in connection with the platform. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from GENO's proprietary materials without written permission.
GENO provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or outcome of services provided by wellness professionals. GENO is not liable for the actions, advice, or conduct of providers or customers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GENO's liability is limited to the amount you have paid to GENO in the 12 months preceding any claim.
GENO may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
